We took a group of U9/U10 players to their first ever Futsal Festival...and what a day it was!

Since launching our Futsal Development Centre at The Haileybury Sports Complex in Hertford Heath, we have had a very positive response and all players have learnt the game extremely quickly and understanding the emphasis on ball retention and control.

Futsal is fast, fun, and focuses on players learning how to think quick as well as methods on how to be creative with the ball.

We took our U9 and U10 squad of players to Futsal UK in Bishops Stortford for their first ever Futsal Festival...which proved to be a huge success with the players...and parents! The tournament was run extremely well and we would like to thank Kevan and Gavin for inviting us in to play.

We started like a house on fire, with our "Reds" winning the first game 10-0 and the "Blacks" 5-3. As the tournament went on, our players were starting to feel the affects of the intesnity of the games and began to tire, with the scorelines getting closer with each game.

The final standings saw both of our teams finishing 1st and 2nd in a group of 4, only seperated by 2 goals. The parents and spectators were entertained throughout and seemed to enjoy the games as much as the players!

We were really pleased with how all the teams conducted themselves and cannot wait for more challenges ahead. Well done to all the players who took part!
